Also, just like you wouldn't use scissors for crafting in order to trim hair don't use your hair cutting scissors to cut anything other than hair. Hair cutting scissors come in various designs and functions. You don't need to get really fancy when selecting the right pair. I would recommend the scissors to be at a minimum of 5 1/4 inches and maximum 5 3/4 inches in length.
