A huge responsibility lies upon the shoulders of each worship leader and praise leader across the globe because the presence of God in a church meeting depends on it. The fate of church members depends on it. If worship is performed in such a way that God does not show up and speak in a gathering, someone on the brink of tragedy or disaster will leave the church in just as they came in and that becomes a missed opportunity for them to receive blessings from God. It is time for us to take a serious look at the fundamental element of ministry in the house of The Lord. In order for the worship experience differ, I think it is time to do things in a different way.
I will give ten reasons why you should worship and praise in the correct method.
1. Man was made to praise and worship not just for Sunday, but on a daily basis. The reason why most people don't have an encounter with God when they sing on Sunday mornings is because they don't practice it at home. They haven't developed the intimacy with God even although they are good Christians.
2. Worship has more to do with the one who is worshipping and his connection to the god worships (Jehovah God).
3. Anyone can sing songs that talk about God However, it takes an intimate relationship with God to be able to access His presence God through the process of worship.
4. Sometimes, you sing praises out of an overflow, but other times , you'll need to make a sacrifice in praise. David declares the following in Psalms: "I will bless the Lord at all times"! There is no need to be adamant about it when you begin when you begin with a prayer and praise him to the core, God will come through to help you.
5. God can accomplish much more through the actions of a person who is connected during times of worship than one who is disengaged and connected from the work he's doing.
6. One doesn't need to have an extraordinary talent, but rather a heart that loves God with a tune and a life that is committed to God. 7. The ability to sing can aid you in learning to sing, but it's the anointing that gives you the ability to enter into an intimate relationship with God. You cannot be awed by God by your skills because God is the one who made it available your gift in the first place.
8. The key job of a praise and worship leader is to make heaven open and to reveal the purpose for us to gather, in order for a meeting with our God. When He shows up He doesn't leave us in the same way He came to us.
9. Certain songs inspire us to worship as well as songs that express an image of God. These aren't the songs you sing because they're among the "top 20". The songs can be God inspiring songs. They are not your own.
10. Signs, wonders, and miracles start to occur in the atmosphere that is created through worship. Therefore, worship is not just a prelude to the preaching. It is an act of service toward God in the presence of God. When God is served, He honors us by His presence.
In closing, I encourage you to be consistently constant in your worship. Praise God at home, with friends, in you cell groups and it will soon become an incredibly powerful way of life. When you gather in church, what an awesome moment it will be.
